How should Powder Highlighter be applied?

For an iridescent sheen, apply our highlighter powder with our buffer glow brush, sweeping across the cheekbone. For a more diffused finish, apply highlighter powder with our softer powder brush, stippling the product from the cheekbones to the temples in a C-shape. Blend the highlighter for a natural glow.

To draw attention and lift your features, apply the highlighter to the high points of your face—this includes your cheekbones, your brow bone, the bridge of your nose, and your cupid’s bow. You can also dot some highlighter on the inner corners of the eye for a wide-awake look.

Is Powder Highlighter meant to be applied before or after face powder?

If you’re using a liquid foundation or tinted moisturizer for your base, you should always set it with a face powder before adding any other powder products, including powder highlighter. This will help to ensure your base is ready so your highlighter can be applied smoothly. It will also prevent your highlighter from diffusing or getting covered by your setting powder if you use the highlighter first.

Can you mix powder highlighter with foundation?

You can mix your highlighter with your foundation to add an all-over iridescent sheen to your face. However, you should ensure both products are the same formulation. So, you should mix powders with powders, liquids with liquids, etc. You can try mixing our cream highlighter with cream foundation to add extra radiance to your complexion.

How can I apply powder highlighter to look younger?

When applied to the right areas, highlighter can lift the face and add a youthful glow. You can try adding highlighter to the inner and outer corners of the eye to lift the area, as well as along the brow bone. Using the highlighter along the cheekbones and up towards the temples will also help to lift the face.
